Yes! Our chickens are certified organic and non-GMO and eat a certified organic feed, along with all the grass, bugs, and grubs they could ever want.
2How are your chickens raised?
The chickens we sell are raised the way chickens are meant to live: they live 24/7 outside on open pastures and are rotated onto fresh pastures daily. They have room to forage and access to plenty of sunshine, fresh well water, grasses, worms, and bugs, along with a certified organic feed. The way our chickens are raised also eliminates the need for synthetic intervention, which means the chickens in our shop are also free from antibiotics and vaccines.
3How does your chicken taste?
Our chickens are juicy, tender, and delicious. If you are used to commercially produced chickens purchased from grocery stores, these chickens will blow your taste buds away with flavor. This is due to the diet they eat: an organic, non-GMO chicken feed and the all-you-can-eat bug and worm buffet they have access to in the pastures.
