    We bought steaks for Christmas dinner and the two bison fillets were great, but the elk steak was very gamy and the Tomahawk bison ribeyes were as tough as a shoe. They were all prepared the same. Prepared properly to a medium rare but the meat on the tomahawks was so tough we could barely cut through them. They were tough to chew & almost no flavor. It was sad!

    So basically for Christmas dinner we has 2 filets for 4 people. It was disappointing st best. We had to throw the tomahawks away & were left hungry…

    Cooked these up for dinner and added Bernaise Sauce. OMG, they were amazing. So tender you could cut them with a fork! We don’t eat much beef but maybe once a month but we may have to have these again real soon. I will definitely be ordering these again, and again, and again!

Our meat arrives frozen and should be kept in your freezer until you're ready to enjoy it. Then, simply defrost it slowly in your refrigerator or in a bowl of cold water. Never use a microwave to thaw your meat as the heat will cook the meat in some places, resulting in poor taste and texture!
3How and when will my order be shipped?
Your order will be carefully hand picked and safely packed in a sustainable cooler with plenty of dry ice to keep your meat frozen until it reaches your door. We only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, so your meat will arrive within 3-7 days, depending on the day you order.
