Here is what I do with all the organs and broth that I bought mostly from Northstar Bison with the recipe.

    Organ Stew:
24 oz of a mix of organ meat(right now heart & kidney or spleen & liver mix)

    1Whole head of Garlic

    Half of a Red onion

    5 oz of Shiitake Mushrooms

At least 2 jars of broth(still experimenting on the desired amount)

    Directions:

    1. Cut organ meat into pot.
    2. Cut garlic into pot.
    3. Cut onion into pot.
    4. Empty pre-cut mushroom container into pot.
    5. Pour broth jars into pot.
    6. Turn on the stove high enough to bring the stew to boil.
    7. Let Stew boil for 10 minutes.
    8. Turn stove to low to let the stew simmer for about two and a half hours.

    Feeds me for 3 dinners.

Grass-fed and Grass-finished organ stew. This allows me to finally take my dietary lifestyle to its logical conclusion of a carnivore, paleo, omnivore, and primal lifestyle. It also allows me to adhere to my principles of regenerative agriculture and return the land to its historical state.

Delicious and tender. I add to my stews. Great option to incorporate if you like organ meats.
