    The meat is lean, but flavorful and juicy. It isn’t like the mush I sometimes get from the local stores. This is quality meat. Yes the price is higher than what I’m used to for ground meat, making this a special treat. I just think of it as a premium dish. I don’t really care for beef, especially fatty cuts, but I love bison. It just tastes and feels more wholesome.

    I have made both burgers and chili with the ground bison and the quality could not be higher. Unlike ground beef there are no unchewable pieces and the flavor is as good as the best beef I have ever cooked with.

2How do I store bison meat?
Our meat arrives frozen and should be kept in your freezer until you're ready to enjoy it. Then, simply defrost it slowly in your refrigerator or in a bowl of cold water. Never use a microwave to thaw your meat as the heat will cook the meat in some places, resulting in poor taste and texture!
3How and when will my order be shipped?
Your order will be carefully hand picked and safely packed in a sustainable cooler with plenty of dry ice to keep your meat frozen until it reaches your door. We only ship on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, so your meat will arrive within 3-7 days, depending on the day you order.
