I’ve gotten my first box, never tried making Venison, Elk or Bison burger before, and haven’t tried the steaks yet, but the burgers are absolutely delicious, and I expect the steaks will be as well – looking forward to trying the rest! The box was well-packaged and arrived fresh and dry-ice-cold to WV within a day or two of the shipping notification – it’s pretty fast, but it ought to be with the shipping costs, which is the only thing that knocks a star off for the value-for-money, something I kind of feel like HonestBison probably can’t be blamed much for given the circumstances, but hopefully they can find a way to reduce shipping costs somehow in the future. In an increasingly uncertain world, I can appreciate having a source of fresh, healthy, natural, American red meat into the foreseeable future, and this meat is extremely tasty. The recipes and cooking suggestions/instructions included are a nice touch, too. I look forward to seeing what the rest of the seasonal box subscription brings!
